We're a 160-person software company holding our annual summer party on Friday 9 July 2027, and we're inviting partners too, so expect around 180 guests. The venue is already booked: a private walled garden in Clifton with an indoor barn as the wet-weather backup. It has mains power in the barn only, so anything on the lawn needs its own supply.
Timings: suppliers can get in from 12:00, guests arrive at 17:30, food runs from 18:30, music until 23:00, and the site must be clear by 00:30. Vehicle access is through a single gate, 2.8 m wide, with no parking on site for vans after 16:00.
We'd like relaxed street-food style catering rather than a sit-down meal, with a welcome drink on arrival. Roughly 30% of guests are vegetarian or vegan, and we have a handful of gluten-free and nut-allergy guests who'll need clearly labelled options. A stretch tent or sailcloth marquee over the lawn would be great if the weather allows, plus a DJ for the evening and a photographer for the first three hours.
