About
Events are built by teams. Nothing was built for assembling one.
Directories list suppliers one at a time. Agencies assemble teams but take a margin for it. EventCrew is the middle: the tools an agency uses, available to whoever is doing the organising.
Ask anyone who has organised a 300-person event how they found their suppliers and the answer is usually a spreadsheet, three recommendations and a lot of email. The venue comes first, then catering, then whoever the venue happens to recommend for sound. Each decision is made without much sight of what it costs the ones after it.
That is the problem worth solving. Not search — search is easy. The hard part is that a venue, a caterer and a lighting company are not three separate purchases. They are one team, working to one date, inside one budget, and every choice narrows the next.
So EventCrew is built around the roster rather than the search box. Save a supplier and they file themselves under every role they could fill, so what you are looking at is your team taking shape and the roles still standing empty. Filter by who is free on your date before you save anyone, and ask them all in one sitting.
We do not take a commission. What you agree with a supplier is what they invoice, and we are not in the payment path. Suppliers pay for membership if they want briefs earlier than everyone else, and organisers pay nothing at all. That is the whole business model.

A note on this site
EventCrew is a demonstration build. Every supplier, brief, review and message on it is invented, and no data leaves your browser — what you save and the team you assemble are stored locally on this device.
